Privacy Policy

Who we are

3D Print Quote Estimator is run by Brayden (“we”). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your choices are. Questions or requests: braybrock8@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

• Email address. To create your account, sign you in, and contact you about your account or subscription.
• Sign-in records. When you ask for a sign-in link we store a hashed one-time token, your email, and the IP address of the request, to stop abuse. These are deleted after 7 days.
• New-account records. When an account is created we note the IP address, only to limit how many accounts one network can open in a day. Deleted after 7 days.
• Usage. How many PDF quotes your account has created, so we can apply the free limit and number your quotes.
• Subscription details. Your plan, status, renewal or end date, and Lemon Squeezy customer and subscription IDs. We never see or store your card number.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL) for security and reliability.

What stays on your device

• Your calculator inputs, rates, and quote branding (business name, logo, terms) are saved in your browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded unless you click Download PDF.
• When you download a PDF, those inputs are sent to our server, used to build the PDF in memory, and sent back to you. We do not store the contents of your quotes.
• Slicer files (.gcode, .3mf) you import are read in your browser and never uploaded.

Cookies and local storage

We use only what the site needs to work:

• pq_session: a cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is HTTP-only and not readable by scripts.
• print-quote:v1 and theme: local-storage entries holding your calculator inputs and your light/dark preference.

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies and we don’t run third-party trackers. Because we only use strictly necessary storage, we don’t show a cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site:

• Lemon Squeezy processes payments and acts as merchant of record, meaning it sells the subscription to you, collects your payment details, and handles sales tax. It has its own privacy policy for that data.
• Resend delivers sign-in emails, so it receives your email address and the message.
• Our database host and web hosting provider store and serve the data described above.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it or to protect our rights and users.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

• Account data (email, usage, subscription details): until you ask us to delete your account.
• Sign-in and new-account records: 7 days.
• Payment and tax records: held by Lemon Squeezy for as long as the law requires, under its own policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or California law) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To use any of these rights, email braybrock8@gmail.com from the address on your account. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Security

Sign-in links are single-use, expire after 15 minutes, and are stored only as hashes. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is less to protect.

Children

The service is for businesses and hobbyists and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
